Sealed bids for the 2026 season of routine park maintenance services are now being accepted by the Village of Mullen.
Park Maintenance Includes:
Lawn mowing and landscaping upkeep of the Village Pool Park.
Bids must include:
*A complete bid proposal form.
*Evidence of licensing and insurance.
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid for Pool Park Maintenance-2026” on the outside of the envelope.
Please submit bids to the Village Office at 111 NW 1st Street, BOX 187, Mullen, NE, 69152, by 4:30 pm on May 6, 2026.
The Village of Mullen reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, and to accept the bid that is deemed in the best interest of the Village.

Experience is desired but not necessary in all areas of utility work. Duties include but are not limited to; electrical, water, sewer, drop off site, truck driving, and street maintenance. Requirements include driver's license with CDL endorsement, or capability of getting a CDL. Employee will be expected to participate in training workshops as required by the Village. Salary depends on qualification and experience.

Wood mulch has arrived!
We have a supply of wood mulch at the Dump Site available at no cost to Village Residents and site patrons. You are welcome to take what you need; however, we kindly ask that you only take a reasonable amount so others may benefit as well.

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties printing and emailing utility bills. Thank you for your continued patience as we work through the new billing system. They will arrive in your mailboxes and inboxes as soon as possible.
Trash belongs in the trash trailer. Items such as bubble wrap and Styrofoam should NOT be left in the recycling building.
