Wood mulch has arrived!
We have a supply of wood mulch at the Dump Site available at no cost to Village Residents and site patrons. You are welcome to take what you need; however, we kindly ask that you only take a reasonable amount so others may benefit as well.

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties printing and emailing utility bills. Thank you for your continued patience as we work through the new billing system. They will arrive in your mailboxes and inboxes as soon as possible.

Trash belongs in the trash trailer. Items such as bubble wrap and Styrofoam should NOT be left in the recycling building.

LIFEGUARDS

Managers: Must be at least 21 years of age, have Pool Manager, Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid and Water Safety Instructor’s certifications to teach swimming lessons, OR be willing to get the training to obtain needed certifications.

Guards:Must be at least 15 years of age, have Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid certifications, or be willing to get the training to obtain them.

To apply, submit your qualifications and your application to the Village of Mullen office or mail to Village of Mullen, Box 187, Mullen, NE 69152 by 4:30 pm March 31, 2026.

The Village of Mullen advises due to the expected freezing temperatures, kindly run your water to avoid frozen water lines. The Drop Off Site will be open normal business hours Saturday January 24, 2026.

The Village Office & Drop-Off Site will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will resume normal business hours Tuesday, January 20.
