
NOTICE: Drop-Off Site will be CLOSED 8am-1pm on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, so the trash trailer can be dumped in Lexington. It will re-open at approximately 1pm until 5pm that same day. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
CARDBOARD NEEDS TO BE PLACED IN THE RECYCLING BUILDING NOT THE TRASH TRAILER.
The recycling building is open for use TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS, and SATURDAYS ONLY.
Only cardboard that is heavily soiled or is otherwise unfit for recycling should be disposed of in the trash trailer
If CLEAN CARDBOARD continues to end up in the trash trailer the DROP OFF SITE WILL NO LONGER BE OPEN ON MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS.
THE DROP OFF SITE WILL GO BACK TO ONLY BEING OPEN TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS AND SATURDAYS.
The Drop Off Site will be closed Thursday, November 27, 2025, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. It will resume normal dumping hours on Friday, November 28, 2025: 8am-5pm--TRASH ONLY.
-Please do not dispose of leaves and grass clippings in the trash trailer.
-NO CARDBOARD IN THE TRASH TRAILER. There have been multiple reports of cardboard being thrown into the trash trailer on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If this continues the Village will return to the old Drop Off Site schedule of 3 days a week. Please hold your cardboard until it can be properly disposed of on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Custer Public Power District has informed the Village of a scheduled electrical outage on Thursday, November 20, 2025. The outage is scheduled for 1:00 PM MST, will affect all Mullen residents and businesses, and is expected to last approximately 2 hours. Please plan accordingly.
Starting Wednesday, October 1, 2025, the Drop Off Site hours will be 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Saturday.
The pool hours will be changing as school starts.
Aug. 13-15: 2-6pm

SCRAP TIRE CLEANUP: Now accepting tires from Cherry County at the Drop Off Site.
Hours for Wednesday, 8/13 and Friday 8/15 are amended 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Limit remains 10 tires per person.
Tires must be off rims
No dirt, sand, or water in tires.
Wednesday and Friday are TIRES ONLY. No trash or recycling service!
Thursday and Saturday remain regular hours.
